And what we can do for you
At Enabling Independence (formerly DABD), we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live their life as independently as possible and of their choosing.
We offer a number of services to achieve this: Children & Youth Services, Community (encompassing our Golden Years over 60s support and Community Fridge), Transport and Welfare Services.
These divisions are led by an Executive Team who report to the Board of Trustees. Both the Executive Team and Board of Trustees comprise years of experience across care, support, finance, governance & compliance and fundraising.
Our delivery teams are led by staff with relevant experience and qualifications. All staff and volunteers hold current Safeguarding and other mandatory training qualifications. We have a Safeguarding Panel who meet regularly to ensure effective and safe handling of any incidents, working with external agencies where needed.
