Transport training courses now available

MiDAS 

The Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme is a nationally recognised membership-based scheme that has been designed to enhance minibus driving standards and promote the safer operation of minibuses for the thousands of individuals who drive minibuses in the course of their work or as volunteers.

PATS

Passenger Assistant Training provides a nationally recognised standard of training for people whose role it is to provide care and assistance to passengers travelling by road.

The training includes direct teaching and demonstrations accompanied by standardised assessment. 

MiDAS Car & MPV training 

This training is applicable to any organisation operating or using vehicles with less than nine passenger seats. 

The training consists of classroom based learning focusing on driving skills and passenger safety issues follows by an 'observed drive' where drivers get the opportunity to put the skills they have learnt into practice.
